Nancy Nelson, Regional Director of Sales
Cyndi met Nancy while working as the Life Enrichment Director at Edgewood Senior Living. The two bonded over their ambitious natures and a shared love of adult conversations mixed with a glass of bubbly Moscato and a side of belly laughter.
When Cyndi left Edgewood, she knew she couldn't take all the friends she'd made, but she also knew that she couldn't leave them all.
Nancy became an adopted grandparent that she and he family lovingly refer to as "GG" (great grandma). With no living grandparents, Cyndi was so happy to have added another grandparent to have over for dinner and to enjoy time with her family.
It was GG's idea that Cyndi start the pebble art business, and in jest, Cyndi said, "You should be my head of sales!" A few weeks later, GG was outfitted with business cards and an old-school paper catalog of products to assist in her non-technological role in sales. "Who'd have ever thought I'd have another job at the age of 88?" She laughed.
GG is an integral part of the North Shore Pebble Art team, and we are so happy to have her energy and love as part of our family and as part of this new adventure together!

Each piece of original art is given as much time and attention to come together as is necessary to inspire its expressive story.
Our Materials
Every pebble, every piece of driftwood, and every delicate piece of sea glass was hand-picked from the shores of Lake Superior. The turbulence of the lake produces fascinating, smooth shapes in a rainbow of colors and patterns. We marry these gifts from nature to foliage and agates from the North Shore to create simple but exquisite pieces of original artwork.
